- Description:
- Qandil or old lamp or lantern is an old traditional way to light houses. It consists of a metal structure with an oval bottle in the shape of an open bottle from the top and bottom. In the bottle there is a roller wrapped with a cotton wick reaching the bottom of the bottle. The fuel can be oil or kerosene. It looks like a decoration in modern houses.
