The Egyptian Cinema and Theater Photographs Collection consists of 21 albums featuring 784 black-and-white photographs of films and plays produced between 1913 and 1952. It also includes press clippings, 36 personal photographs of prominent actors of the era, a gift from Al Kawakeb magazine, and 20 autographs of Egyptian actors. The collection showcases key figures in the early 20th century artistic scene, including Youssef Wahbi, Naguib El-Rihani, Ali El-Kassar, Tahia Carioca, Zouzou Shakib, and Faten Hamama.

In addition to this, the collection features works by leading Egyptian photography studios of the time, such as Studio Armand, Photo Ottoman, Metri Photo Studio, London Studio, Photographie Française, Labonza, and Studio D'art.

تضم مجموعة صور السينما والمسرح المصري 21 ألبومًا تحتوي على 784 صورة فوتوغرافية بالأبيض والأسود، لأفلام ومسرحيات أنتجت بين الأعوام 1913 و1952. كما تضم هذه المجموعة مقتطفات صحفية، 36 صورة شخصية، لأبرز ممثلي ذلك الزمن، هدية من مجلة الكواكب، و20 توقيعًا لممثلين مصريين. وتسلط المجموعة الضوء على ممثلين وممثلات لعبوا دورا مهما في الساحة الفنية العربية في القرن العشرين مثل يوسف وهبي، ونجيب الريحاني، وعلي الكسار، وتحية كاريوكا، زوزو شكيب، وفاتن حمامة. بالإضافة إلى تلك الأعمال الفنية تتجلى في هذه المجموعة أعمال استوديوهات التصوير الفوتوغرافي الرائدة في مصر في ذلك الوقت، أمثال ستوديو أرماند، وفوتو أوتومان، ومتري فوتو ستوديو، ولندن ستوديو، وفوتوغرافي فرانسيز، ولابونزا، واستوديو دارت.
هذه المجموعة مهمة للباحثين المعنيين بدراسة تاريخ السينما والمسرح المصري وتطور فن التصوير الفوتوغرافي في مصر خلال بدايات القرن العشرين.
