Note(s) | The lamp - the light of the kerosene: These tools were used for the old lighting, a circular base for storage of fuel, topped
by a thin metal crown consists of two separate pieces, allowing the passage of air necessary for flammability, and contains
a circular path where a transparent bottle is placed transparent. The crown mediates a wick that immerses its lower limb in
the kerosene and keeps a small part of it ignited. The bottle is placed over the crown, preventing the air from extinguishing
the flame and increasing the intensity of the light. |
